For Louisville and Kentucky, KICC means more than $53 million in annual economic impact, the potential for downtown businesses to have the ability to grow by an estimated 25%, and will employ approximately 150 people for a wide range of full and part-time jobs. A LEED Silver Facility
The Kentucky International Convention Center holds the distinction of being a LEED Silver certified facility. LEED, meaning Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is an internationally recognized green building certification system, providing third-party verification that a building or community was designed and built using strategies aimed at improving performance. We make an intentional effort to commit not only to our customers but to the environment.
